An illustrated lecture by Dr Spyros Retsas
Wednesday, 20 May, 7.00 pm at The Hellenic Centre, London
Dr Spyros Retsas examined the contribution of Hellenism to the understanding of the function and workings of the human brain, from the early insights of Alcmaeon and Hippocrates to the influential theories of Aristotle and Galen, and continuing into the Byzantine period.
